ABSTRACT: Climate change is a problem that we can no longer ignore. It is now an accelerating reality that is actively transforming our world today and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. The world grapples with severe socio-economic inequalities along with the degradation and depletion of resources. In the mortuary silence, the magnificent voice of youth emerges with vigor, urgency, and hope. Youth Voices for a Sustainable Future: Tackling Climate Change and Nurturing Our Planet pay tribute to the tenacious resolve of this generation to combat climate change as well as take responsibility on a global scale.

This anthology contains the powerful contributions of graduate students, who not only dream of a better world, but who are taking steps to actively create that world.
